why cant I find an email address directory on the internet?

3. Probably because there isn't one. Can you imagine all the spam you would get if all a spammer had to do was download email addresses from one site. Not to mention the simple fact that people change email addresses often. A directory would be out of date even while it was being published online.
4. because you are not using the right search keywords. use email address search at google like this http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=email%2Baddress%2Bsearch some email addresses cannot be looked up. that's because either the owner of the address or their internet service provider is blocking that. there is no way to get around the blocking. this means this type of people finder is not reliable.
